66th Festival of Sport (FOS) – Opening Ceremony, had successfully organized at Kowloon Park Sports Centre on 8 April 2023 (Saturday).

The Opening Ceremony was officiated by Mr. Ronnie WONG, BBS, JP, Chairperson of FOS Organizing Committee cum Vice-President of SF&OC, Miss Winnie CHUI, Deputy Directir of Leisure & Cultural Services (Leisure Services), and the Hon. Joephy CHAN, together with three FOS ambassadors, Mr. CHAN Wai Ho (Football), Ms. Lisa CHENG (Sport Climbing and Bodybuilding) and Ms. Cythia LOK (Motorsport).

Carnival is also held at the venue over the weekend. Other than a wide variety of sports demonstrations and performances, there are several sports trials, including archery, cricket, flying disc, and fencing, etc. Participants would get a stamp after participating in a sports trial and redeem FOS souvenirs by collecting different stamps on a first come, first serve basis. The public is welcome to join the event.

From now until June, SF&OC will be organizing over 60 physical activities in conjunction with various National Sports Associations (NSAs) during the FOS, such as competitions, fun day, and sports demonstrations, bringing an enhanced sports experience to the public.
